Updated Nov 30, 2022 Star parking Alicante, Avoid at all costs. My partner had used this company Star Parking, Alicante for around 3 years and all seemed well. At the beginning of August of this year he left the car with them as usual, however when he contacted them at the end of August to let them know we would be coming over in September, he was told that his car wouldn't start and could he contact his insurance to arrange to get it taken to a garage to check what was wrong with the car, which he did. When he contacted Star Parking to arrange this they advised him that they had already done it and told him that they would contact him to let him know what the problem was. He contacted them numerous times and was ignored most of the time but when they did reply it was to tell him that they didn't know as they hadn't heard from the garage. My partner asked numerous times for the name and phone number of the garage and received no reply from them at all. He then contacted his insurance company who advised him to report it stolen if they didn't give him the info of the garage, my partner informed Star Parking this was advice he had been given from his insurance company. In the meantime messages still being sent to Star Parking which were ignored and they wouldnt answer the phone, we arrived in Spain and still had no idea where our car was. We contacted a lawyer who sent Star Parking a message advising if he did not hear from them by a certain date with the name and address of the garage the car was in he would be reporting to the gardia that the car had been stolen by them. Eventually got an address from them where the car was. My partner had to go look for the place where car was taken to and was advised by the garage owner that the car was dropped off there with no instruction to look at it. My partner then had to hire a tow truck to take it to a garage nearer to where we were staying. This carried on from August till we got our car back in October.

I dropped of car at airport in August with no faults I was due to come back over in September got a call saying car wont start without permission they took car to a house mechanic with no intention of repair I went to lawyer after 3weeks found out where car was I went and found house called tow truck got it taken to a garage and was told timing chain damage will need new engine price 2500 euro I have sent numerous emails no reply so watch out they say on website have mechanic so why take it elsewhere
